This potted shamrock-style plant is an easy-care plant that is so communicative it will "faint" when it is thirsty and needing water. The foliage folds up and closes during the evening/night and will reopen when the light returns. It has purple, heart-shaped leaves in sets of three that mimic the shamrock, hence the name. Allow the top few inches of your media to dry between watering, and always water thoroughly, allowing the excess water to drain away. During cooler months, your Oxalis may bloom on and off.
