Description
This hardy plant, now dracaena, previously classified sansevieria, is an ornamental, succulent-like, plant that grows upward. Often called “snake plants,” these do best by drying out and being ignored. They are a fan-favorite because they are capable of adjusting to many environmental conditions, and can withstand missing a watering or two. It is important to have quick-draining media to prevent any standing water that can lead to root rot or damage. This particular variety is known for its green banding and flat, sword-like, leaves and can grow upwards of 2.5’ tall.
