The monstera deliciosa, a tropical ‘swiss-cheese’ plant known for its fenestrations (holes in the foliage), is the perfect addition to your home. Originating in tropical regions, this plant is now a staple in the realm of indoor houseplants. Monstera thrive in medium to bright indirect light, and prefer their soil to dry out between waterings. Like most tropicals, the monstera will not survive temperatures dropping below 60. Though humidity loving, the monstera will do just fine in average household humidity. New leaves emerge bright green and darken with maturation.
