Atlantis Hydroponics opened its first store in Athens in 1998, with the drive to help make hydroponics the future of horticulture. In just a short time, Atlantis has opened locations in Atlanta and College Park and business is good. We pride ourselves in providing knowledge and the best available products to our customers. Carefully chosen and tested equipment and nutrients ensure our customers have maximum results with their plants. We deal in practical, environmentally conscious methods, mastering how to garden effectively.

Teaching earth-friendly practices also translates to directly to the community. Atlantis has participated in a number of science days, youth-oriented programs, high school education, and even art exhibits. Pictured are some students in a science class at Eagle's Landing High School. Their teacher, Mike Hutchings liked the idea of learning to grow hydroponically so they set up stations at every lab table.

The Brownwood Rec Center in East Atlanta is a home away from home to many kids and teens. Atlantis has recently teamed up with the Brownwood Recreation Center, a City of Atlanta Bureau of Recreation facility, to start the first ever Atlanta area program that teaches kids to learn the benefits of entrepreneurship and hydroponics. With help from Atlantis and some very dedicated youth leaders, the center will prove the profitable and economical benefits to growing hydroponically as the kids grow, market, and sell their produce. Because hydro is much more successful than soil and the rate of growth is so rapid, these kids could jumpstart their future with just a few seeds!

To help them along the way, we donated a complete indoor garden system for the center. The goal: to try and raise money for the kids to take a trip in the spring. Growing fresh, organic produce and culinary herbs for local restaurants is easy and consistent using hydroponics, even in the winter. The relationship is great... A better product for the consumer and business skills for some smart Atlanta kids! See Our Growth Here.

Grassroots Learning - Because Hydroponics is such a new phenomenon, we love getting the word out. In our home town of Athens, Atlantis Hydroponics participates in a number of programs that help kids learn the benefits of plants and the relationship that we have with them. Check out what Ms. Hubbard's kids learned!
